This magical little tropical oasis will have you in absolute awe at its lushly overgrown neighborhood streets and quaint, vibrant downtown area. Nestled in between Brickell and South Gables, south of US 1 and hugging the shoreline of Biscayne Bay, Coconut Grove, or “The Grove” as referred to by the locals, is the perfect place for young professionals and families alike.
A neighborhood geared toward outdoor life, in the Grove you will find an ample amount of parks, outdoor eateries and boating activities to please the enthusiast within. The lively downtown shopping and dining district, which centers around CocoWalk an upscale shopping center currently undergoing extensive renovations, provides plenty of nights out and people watching. Throughout the streets of the Grove and downtown there is a Bohemian vibe that remains and plenty of eye-catching wild peacocks roaming about.
Real estate here is comprised older charming homes and more modern homes and townhouses, with many condo buildings through out the downtown district. My favorite part about this area is the tropical jungle feel that you get in its residential areas.
The Grove is one of the most desirable areas to live for Miami natives and transplants alike, and by far one of my favorite areas of Miami.
