    Brickell

    Rewind 10 years and you would not recognize this section of Greater Downtown Miami that is now Miami’s hottest neighborhood and the center of the Financial world in Southern Florida. It’s main street Brickell Avenue is often dubbed the “Wall Street of the South” due to the abundance of banks and financial companies that dot the avenue. Yet not long ago there sat empty lots, quiet streets and dark buildings in this always buzzing part of town. Rapid expansion and what was for a few years the country’s busiest new construction site has left Miami with a new skyline and a beautiful, new downtown neighborhood full Miami’s vibrance and life.

    Bordered to the Coconut Grove to the south, Little Havana to the west, the Miami River to the north and hugging the Biscayne Bay you will find numerous luxury buildings each of which having more amenities that you can imagine. New restaurants seem to open monthly to keep up with the demand of the growing neighborhood. Its newest center piece, Brickell City Centre, which was part of the building boom during the mid 2010’s, just opened a few years ago. It is a sprawling upscale shopping center spanning three blocks with office space on top, along with two residential towers and the East hotel.

    Brickell’s north-eastern most section is its busiest with a quieter section south-west of 15th Rd, including South Miami Avenue’s stunning estates just steps from all the action. Then just to the west of 95 from Brickell you will find another quiet, charming neighborhood known as The Roads that is residential with mostly single-family homes, the perfect place to be away from it all, but not too far.

    Brickell is Miami’s quintessential work-play environment, when you leave here you never have to leave and rarely even need a car. If it’s a convenient urban lifestyle you seek with everything at your fingertips, including stunning bay and city views, look no further than Brickell, it has it all!
